- Buy your pumpkin at the grocery store. Those themed pumpkin patches usually cost more. However, many times they are for charity. So if you want to support that charity, by all means go there, but if you just want a pumpkin, the grocery store is cheaper.
- Fall is tailgate season! Stock up on your favorite grill meats when they are on sale and when you grill, you can grill extra quantities to put in the freezer for quick dinners on those nights you don’t have time to cook.

- When running errands, plan your route in a circle to save gas.
- Getting the junk out of the trunk will save gas. Also there’s no need to have a full tank of gas all the time. Twenty gallons of gas weighs a lot. You can get better mileage with a not so full tank of gas. However, don’t take the risk of running out of gas, better mileage is not worth that! Keep it at about one fourth full.
- Dryer sheets are good for more than one load.
